About the role:
Responsible for the maintenance and growth of a portfolio of mail customers, being fully compliant with all internal systems and maintain all customer records within our CRM.
* Accountable for the performance of a corporate client portfolio
* Maintain and support all portfolio customers, ensuring they meet and exceed volume and revenue targets
* Manage portfolio service performance to exceed weekly and monthly client SLAs
* Increase share of wallet from existing customer base through the development of all product lines – Presorted, unsorted and international mail
* Ensure all customer contact is logged and updated within our Salesforce CRM system, including customer call, visits, opportunities and at-risk accounts
* Reacting to market conditions and other influences, develop compelling commercial client propositions
* Lead and or support on completion of bids and RFPs as required
* Negotiate client contracts and manage the review and amendment of pricing through defined processes for authorisation
* Provide timely and accurate customer revenue and volume forecasts
* Maintain strong relationships with all departments within DHL eCommerce UK
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of account managing large contracts, ideally in mail or logistics
* Strong presentation skills
* The ability to work under pressure and achieve set deadlines
* Good analytical skills, specifically in the pre-processing of data
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Competency in using our operating systems
* Fully competent with our IT systems and product offering
* A good understanding of all DHL eCommerce UK Health and Safety requirements
* A full UK Driving Licence
* Self-motivation with proven ability to manage customers and opportunities within a large geographical area
