The Infrastructure Project Manager will play a vital role in supporting Defence by leading and managing the delivery of key infrastructure projects within Main Building. A key responsibility will be overseeing high profile projects on behalf of Director Head Office, which involves significant infrastructure enhancements and strategic planning to meet the future requirements of Main Building. This role provides leadership and delivery of key projects in Main Building to ensure we maintain a safe, secure, and resilient building, while enhancing our ability to support the delivery of key outputs. Current projects include strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and operational capabilities of Main Building. Working closely with colleagues in the Strategy, Security and Accommodation teams. Key responsibilities: Lead and manage the delivery of infrastructure projects within Main Building, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required security and quality standards. Collaborate with various departments, including accommodation, security, DIO and the PFI contractor, to ensure the successful implementation of projects. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify and manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant MOD policies and procedures. Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders and ensure effective communication throughout the project life cycle. Manage project resources, including internal teams and external contractors.
