Clinical Associate Psychologist - At Risk Mental State (ARMS) Service
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist to work within the HYPED (Hampshire and Isle of Wight Early Detection) Service. The HYPED Service is a new and exciting service that works with individuals from the age of 14-35 who may be at high risk of developing psychosis (referred to as At Risk Mental State; ARMS). The HYPED service offers comprehensive assessment, up to two years of key working, and holistic psychological and psychosocial interventions. This input can prevent the development of psychosis and can improve recovery and quality of life outcomes of people with unusual experiences. The HYPED service is a psychologically staffed service and is embedded within an existing Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Team. The post holder will join an Applied Psychologist / CBT Therapist and a Service Manager in the local Mid and North team, with close working relationships with the other HYPED teams across the trust and the Principal Clinical Psychologist ARMS Lead. We are an enthusiastic and supportive service who work creatively to support our clients and each other as we develop this new service.
