Our client, a Top 50 Engineers multi-disciplinary engineering practice, seeks a Senior Civil Project Engineer to join their consultancy. About the Role
The role involves managing and designing infrastructure projects for prestigious clients across diverse sectors, including automotive, commercial, industrial, retail, education, and residential developments.
Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Manage small to medium-sized projects under the guidance of an Associate Director.
* Technical Expertise: Deliver innovative engineering solutions, focusing on estate infrastructure, roads, and drainage design.
* Client Collaboration: Represent the company confidently in client meetings, project teams, and external organizations.
* Secure Technical Approvals: Obtain approvals for Section 38, 104, and 278 applications.
* Flood Risk Assessments: Prepare assessments and drainage strategies tailored to project needs.
* Design Tools: Work with AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, and potentially Civil 3D or PDS for detailed infrastructure design.
* Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise with colleagues while continuously developing your own skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate design experience in civil engineering is required. Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is also necessary.
Required Skills
* Technical Acumen: Proficiency in estate infrastructure design, with a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Causeway Flow.
* Civil Engineering Software: Familiarity with Civil 3D or PDS is a plus.
* Communication: Strong written and verbal communication for reports, presentations, and client interactions.
* Teamwork: A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation Package
