Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the All Age Safeguarding administration team, supporting Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Children, Learning Disabilities and Autism. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual, who will fit well into a multi discipline, multi-agency team. The Safeguarding team deals with information that can be upsetting on a daily basis, and because of that this post would suit a candidate who can demonstrate resilience, maturity, calmness under pressure and supreme professionalism. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience of a busy office environment. We are looking for a team player who has great interpersonal skills. Due to the often changing nature of the work this role would suit a person who has strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. Main duties of the job As an administrator you will be involved with all the functions of this busy team. You will provide full administrative support to the Safeguarding professionals in the team which will include answering the telephone, diary management, data entry, minute taking, organising training, liaising with internal staff and external agencies, alongside the usual administrative tasks. You will be working with some of the Trust's electronic record systems to research, record and input data. You will handle telephone and email enquiries from staff and be expected to signpost them to the necessary information and have a good knowledge of the work performed by the Trust as a whole.
