Partner with the best
Responsible for Quality Control at the Bridge of Don site in Aberdeen. The responsibilities will include ensuring product and process within the workshop meet correct specifications instilling a mindset of no quality escapes.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:
1. Inspects parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints.
2. Initiates non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications.
3. Assures that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements.
4. Initiates corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature.
5. Completes, inspects, and distributes all quality records and documents.
6. Performs specialized testing as required. Verifies tests as required on all components and completed assemblies.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
7. Have appropriate level of qualification in Science, Engineering or Quality Management.
8. Hold a PCN qualification.
9. Have Oil & Gas experience.
10. Demonstrate non-destructive testing experience.
11. Be familiar with Dimensional Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection and Liquid Penetrant Inspection.
12. Demonstrate strong HSE culture.
13. Have good communication skills including active listening, interpersonal skills and presentation/reporting skills.
