Provide direct clinical care, which encompasses Occupational Therapy holistic assessment, treatment, review and management of clients with physical, cognitive and psychological impairments as a result of acquired brain injury Ensure appropriate pathways of care and communication via liaison and referrals to other agencies as required Work as an autonomous practitioner being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of work, managing own caseload and maintaining accurate records Work as an integral member of the Interdisciplinary team to agreed systems and processes to produce common rehabilitation goals as part of the rehabilitation programme Clinically supervise junior Occupational Therapy staff, assistants and students Provide specialist advice to other health care professionals, carers and family members Demonstrate commitment to maintaining and improving clinical standards as set by national and regional bodies Ongoing professional development Take an active role in service development
