Main duties of the job As theTransformation Director, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic delivery and system-wide change. Reporting to the National Director of Health and Wellbeing, you will lead the programme's strategic initiatives, ensuring collaboration across partner agencies and workstreams to achieve our ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities: Programme Leadership: Lead the Tackling Diabetes Together programme, formulating long-term strategic plans and building an effective team to deliver objectives. Implementation and Delivery: Oversee the implementation of workstreams, establish performance systems, and foster a culture of partnership and system leadership. Communication: Clearly articulate the benefits of diabetes transformation, delivering complex presentations and ensuring regular updates on progress. System Leadership: Identify and address barriers to implementation, promote effective partnerships, and ensure strong clinical leadership. Innovation and Improvement: Champion innovative solutions, including service redesign and digital health, to improve diabetes outcomes. Governance and Stewardship: Ensure robust governance, performance management, and budget oversight for the programme.
