We have an excellent opportunity for a Vetting Administrator to support our client on site in the Tewksbury area. Successful candidates are required to hold SC clearance or be eligible for vetting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Process vetting applications for all DXC employees and contractors from receipt of initial request through to completion according to approved work procedures. 2. Create and maintain accurate electronic records of all vetting applications and the outcome. 3. Approve BPSS applications following approved procedures and escalates to the Vetting Manager any which fall outside of scope of delegated authority. 4. Submit clearance applications and transfers to UK Security Vetting (UKSV), and other HMG vetting authorities. 5. Issue notification of successful vetting to applicants and their sponsor/manager. 6. On a rota basis, monitor emails received into the group mailbox and process as appropriate. 7. Respond to enquiries from applicants and their sponsors/managers regarding status of vetting applications. 8. Respond to enquiries, both internally and externally, for confirmation of security clearances. 9. Assist with housekeeping tasks in relation to all electronic vetting records when required. 10. Process outgoing visit requests to FSC and domestic government sites. 11. Liaises with DXC Receptions and Site Security to confirm clearance levels for visitors. 12. Escalate any vetting issues to the Vetting Manager. Account specific responsibilities: 1. Manage engagement with the client Personnel Security Teams to ensure clearance applications for all new DXC employees and contractors are conducted in accordance with the Authority’s processes. 2. Assist the client with the management requirements for maintaining clearances for all DXC personnel. 3. Ensure the client is notified of any DXC personnel leaving the Account and the correct leavers process is conducted including briefings and return of client devices/information/equipment. 4. Ensure all DXC personnel working on the Account have the correct level of clearance for the role they are due to undertake prior to taking up post. 5. Maintain a local database of security clearances which have been granted for DXC personnel working on the client site(s). 6. Engage with the client to ensure correct procedures are followed for any DXC personnel working at multiple sites within the Authority. 7. Liaise with the client, applicants, and their sponsors/managers to deal with any queries or issues during the vetting process. 8. Conduct ‘pre-vet’ checks on all personnel proposed to join the Account, regardless of the level of clearance they require. 9. Assist the client in the renewal of clearance, annual security appraisal process and ensure all mandatory training is complete for personnel working on the Account. 10. Arrange inductions for new personnel joining the Account on the client sites as well as Account specific on-boarding requirements. 11. Manage personnel security incidents with the Account Chief Information Security Officer and Vetting Manager reporting as required to the client.
