Our client, a highly reputable Law Firm based in the West Midlands, is seeking a new Senior Compliance Manager to join the Risk & Compliance function at an exciting time for the business. The organisation offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office per week.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you will perform the duties required under the COLP, MLRO, and DPO functions. If you are a qualified solicitor/barrister, you would hold those titles. In this role, you will be responsible for the Risk & Compliance function in all aspects, including systems, reporting, and ensuring the firm is compliant from a regulatory standpoint.
Key Skills / Experience:
1. Experience in a Manager/Senior Manager Risk & Compliance role within a law firm or legal services environment. This could include being an AML Manager, MLRO, Senior Compliance Manager, or Compliance Manager, as examples.
2. Solid understanding of all compliance aspects including AML, KYC, CDD, PEPs, Sanctions & Conflicts, etc.
3. Sound understanding of the SRA regulations in relation to compliance.
4. Familiarity with the Lexcel v6 legal practice quality mark.
