We are carbon neutral and are continuously working to reduce our negative impact on the planet. We also care about our community and work with local partners to try to reduce inequalities and improve lives. Employees often get involved with these activities and love being able to have a positive impact.

* Proactively monitoring the performance of software to detect issues early.
* Occasional out of hours support at additional pay, agreed on an ad hoc basis.
What might you be like?
* A considerable amount of software engineering experience, ideally in two or more of the following technologies:
o C# and the .NET ecosystem
o Java and the JVM ecosystem
o React and Typescript
* OR a strong background in product management, product ownership or business analysis in a product-focused company, coupled with some hands-on software development experience such as completion of a coding bootcamp or a computing-related degree.
* Passionate about high-quality maintainable code.
* A good working knowledge of SQL Server, including experience working with production databases.
* Experience with cloud services such as Azure or AWS.
* Willingness to learn and use new languages and technologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise when under pressure.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues with limited information.
We realise there are a few bullet points here. If you don’t feel you meet every single point in the ad, but still think you could be a great fit we would love to hear from you! Please apply and let us know why you think you would be right for the role.
