The purpose of this role is to support the portfolio of STARK UK business brands from an operational marketing perspective, to drive awareness, engagement, loyalty, sales and enviable market share, so that the company achieves its ambition to be the UK’s leading builders’ merchant. What you’ll be doing: Help manage delivery and management of the refreshed Jewson brand proposition; this includes Jewson’s branches of the future, and the associated PR. Work closely with the other Marketing Managers – Independent Builders, to ensure the Jewson brand playbook, guidelines and tone of voice are developed, operationalised, and managed well. Where other STARK UK brands have proposition refreshes, help ensure the programmes are delivered well at regional and local level. Help systemise and embed a branch marketing services framework that supports each team regarding regional/local campaigns and activations, promotions, PR, issues and crises management, branch theatre and vehicle branding management (including POS and Marketing Playbook), quality control, and marketing capabilities. This includes branch openings and closures, whether temporary or permanent. Support the management of Pixel Go/ BrandIQ and local adoption of national and category campaigns, providing support for further local activation as. Ensure the trade calendar lands. Help establish and manage a hyperlocal Jewson, JP Corry and Normans branch-run marketing framework that empowers and supports branch teams to manage their own local activities to drive engagement and sales. Work with supporting agencies to actively manage the STARK UK business brands’ development. Help develop an integrated PR and social media plan with the Social Media Manager and also with the brand rollout plan that is fully operationalized at branch/depot/store level, to optimize our visibility in the market. To work with the Head of Marketing Operations to develop a content plan in branch both for digital screens and offline. Help develop the assets for PixelGo and BrandIQ and measure the effectiveness of branch use. Support the Head of Marketing Operations in developing branch turnaround plans and their implementation with the rest of the team. Support, where and in line with the national frameworks, sponsorship, hospitality, and loyalty programme frameworks, ensuring they are adopted and adhered to. Support the Head of Marketing – Operations in business partnering the Regional Directors and their teams. Support the branch/depot/store community so they are aware of key regulatory updates and thought leadership topics for local activations and customer conversations, so that all STARK UK brands are seen as the “go-to” for key information and inspiration that drives trust and brand loyalty. Work in close collaboration with Corporate Communications to optimise local wins and spotlight people and pockets of brillianc e. What you’ll need to have: Bachelor’s and/or post-graduate degree or related qualification in Marketing, Commerce, Communications, or similar. Marketing experience, the majority of which will have been in B2B. Comfortable to manage and work with pace and focus during a period of significant transformation, using own initiative. Ability to manage high volumes of work and multiple, competing priorities in a professional and efficient manner. Experience in marketing to traditional and hard-to-reach B2B audiences, via traditional and digital media. High proficiency with data analysis and how to apply this to decision making and impact measurement. Proficiency with digital and traditional marketing communication channels. Solid knowledge of customer relationship and stakeholder management, and content management systems. Will need to be available for ad-hoc out of hours work. UK travel when.
