Introduction
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Policy, Complaints & Governance Manager in Children and Young People Services. We are seeking to recruit an outstanding manager with excellent organisation, planning and interpersonal skills to lead this important area with both corporate & statutory responsibilities.

What's the role?
To lead on governance arrangements including:
1. Overarching responsibility for managing Complaints and FOIs in line with our statutory and regulatory obligations
2. Ensuring we remain aligned to our Corporate responsibilities
3. Maintaining oversight of Key Decision timing and coordination for the directorate

What we're looking for
You will have an eye for accuracy and can ensure quality and consistency of information shared. You will be keen to lead directorate learning from complaints and feedback. Liaising and supporting service-based responses to communication, including training officers and managers to ensure responses are accurate, sympathetic and serve our residents well, will be what you excel at, as well as having great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside others.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU, however we operate a hybrid approach where you may be able to work from home up to three days per week, subject to the needs of the service.

Salary
£55,710 - £57,726 per annum (P06)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
