Damper Assembly Technician

The Damper Assembly Technician will work in the production of suspension dampers and other suspension components from start to finish.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assemble DSSV dampers to production specifications using information from drawings and procedures.
2. Test DSSV production dampers using Dynamic Suspension software, interpret results and make adjustments to achieve pass criteria.
3. Assemble hydraulic components to production specifications using information from drawings and procedures.
4. Test production hydraulic units using DynasoftMX software.
5. Assemble brake and steering mechanical components to production specification using information from drawings and procedures.
6. Ensure build sign off paperwork is completed.
7. Rework and prepare component parts when required using machining and fabrication equipment.
8. Work in a safe manner at all times
Qualifications / Experience:
9. Machining and fabrication experience would be an advantage.
10. Computer literate
11. Engineering certification or equivalent
12. Basic mechanical assembly experience.
13. Previous experience of working in an automotive or motor racing environment would be an advantage
