An exciting opportunity has become available to join the valentine Health Partnership. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated GP Receptionist to join our multicultural, dynamic and forward-thinking Practice.
1. Job Type - Full-time week; Mon - Saturday ( 1x Saturday every 10 weeks), Permanent Position
2. Location : Ferryview health Centre, Holburne Road surgery
Main duties of the job
Main Role and Responsibilities:
3. Ensure that all reception duties and tasks are carried out in an effective, efficient and professional manner in line with the practices guidelines, procedures and protocols
4. Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice
5. Undertake general office and reception duties including front desk, telephone and email.
6. Liaise with outside agencies
7. Support colleagues and be a team player
8. Respect confidentiality and data protection rules
9. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way
10. Cover reception at the 2x Practices: Ferryview Health Centre SE18 6PZ and Holburne Road SE3 8HQ

24. Main Duties:
25. Candidate will be responsible for supportingthe practice by taking telephone calls and answering queries, and providing afriendly service to all patients and visitors
26. Ensure that all reception duties and tasks are carried out in an effective, efficient and professional manner in line with the practices guidelines, procedures and protocols
27. Able to update the system, book/cancelappointments, deal with registrations, greet patients professionally andcomplete general administration
28. Support colleagues and be a team player
29. Respect confidentiality and data protection rules
30. Positive, can-do attitude and attention todetail
31. Handling queries in a time-effective manner
