Your Future, Fueled by Innovation
As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Nufarm remains an employer of choice for apprentices and early-career professionals. Supporting the Senior Learning & Development Specialist, you will help drive a culture of continuous learning, manage the apprenticeship programme, and coordinate training initiatives across the site.
This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with schools and colleges, promote careers in manufacturing and engineering, and develop Nufarm’s position as the top apprenticeship provider in the area. You will also support site-wide learning and development activities, contributing to key L&D projects that enhance skills and capabilities across our workforce.
How You’ll Help Us Grow
1. Act as the first point of contact for apprentices, mentors, line managers, and training providers, ensuring an effective and supportive apprenticeship programme.
2. Provide administrative support for all apprenticeship programmes, including managing the apprenticeship levy.
3. Support external engagement at schools, careers fairs, and industry events to promote apprenticeships and increase female participation in STEM careers.
4. Assist in sourcing training providers and apprenticeship standards to meet business needs.
5. Help develop and implement learning and development activities across the site.
6. Maintain accurate L&D records for compliance, audit, and reporting purposes.
Could This Be You?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused individual with a passion for learning and development. You should have:
1. Experience working with apprentices in a manufacturing or engineering environment, either as an employer or training provider.
2. A basic understanding of the apprenticeship levy.
3. Confidence to engage with young people, promote careers in the industry, and present at events.
4. A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive projects forward.
5. A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car to attend events.
In return we offer the successful candidate a competitive annual salary; a defined contribution pension scheme, 28 days (plus bank holidays) and site bonus scheme.
