DP Business Events, a well-established meet-the-buyer event organiser with over 21 years of experience, is seeking a talented Telesales Executive to join our team on a permanent basis.
We are a market leader in hosting highly focused B2B events across the Hotel, Warehouse, Hospitality, Healthcare, Property and Logistics sectors. Our events take place at luxurious venues in the UK and EU, spanning 2-3 days, and are attended by senior-level delegates, with attendance ranging up to 300+ participants.
Our unique format, 'Meet The Buyer,' brings Suppliers and Buyers together under one roof. These events are carefully facilitated and hosted by our team, ensuring all clients are supported throughout the process.
The Role:
Your specific role will be to focus on Buyers within the hotel and hospitality sectors; however, you may occasionally work across other industries. Buyers are invited on a complimentary basis, so while you won't be negotiating fees, you will need strong sales skills and the ability to build relationships effectively.
1. Identify and approach companies that may be interested in meeting Buyers/Suppliers in their industry.
2. Pitch services via phone/email.
3. Account manage your own clients.
4. Develop old AND new accounts.
5. Office based, full time 9am to 5pm.
6. Opportunity to attend events UK/EU wide.
The Candidate:
You should have a knack for identifying the best-fit Buyers for our events and be able to communicate the value and benefits of attending. Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset are key to succeeding in this role.
1. Training will be provided, but previous experience in sales, event management, or working with senior-level clients is highly desirable.
2. Confident in pitching the event format on a cold basis to senior delegates.
3. Can work on own initiative.
4. Can manage and build pipelines.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Someone who appreciates the importance of repeat business.
