The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach across the age range in a dynamic and highly successful faculty. The faculty offers a range of examined courses, alongside a dynamic Core PE programme and a range of extra-curricular opportunities. This post is suitable for both ECTs and those with previous experience. The correct candidate will be teaching mixed gender groups across KS2 and KS3. The successful candidate will: Have Qualified Teacher status; Have a passion for their subject and the ability to make their subject come alive with inspirational and interactive lessons, which challenge and support all pupils to secure the best outcomes; Be a proven excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge; Be able to demonstrate ambitious standards and has high expectations for all pupils, ensuring robust assessment to support pupil progression; Have excellent organisational and ICT skills; Be a flexible practitioner with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly successful team striving to bring out the best in our students and promote success in the department. The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert and this will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. In the first year of service this salary may need to be adjusted to ensure you are paid accurately to reflect your holiday entitlement. A similar adjustment may be made at the point your employment ends to ensure that you are paid accurately for the number of days worked in any academic year. The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and paid annual leave entitlement for an employee under 5 years’ service.
