Senior Environmental Test Engineer
Location: Middlesex, UK
Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35-hour week (early Friday finish)

Role Overview
As a Senior Environmental Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing rigorous tests to validate materials meet design and customer specifications. You will oversee the entire test process, from planning through to post-test analysis and reporting, utilizing your expertise in testing programs and military/civilian standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead various tests, including Ballistic Signal Transmission Testing (BSTS), Vibration & Shock response Spectrum (SRS) and mechanical shock testing, Static load, climatic, and temperature shock testing, Environmental and pyrotechnic/explosive testing, Instron Machine, salt fog, and SO2 testing.
* Conduct detailed analysis and compile thorough reports on test outcomes.
* Delegate tasks within small project teams, contributing to an efficient and collaborative testing environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking an individual with extensive hands-on experience in similar testing procedures, particularly in managing tests through to completion, with a strong capability in reporting and analysis. Prior experience in small, collaborative project teams with a focus on task delegation (rather than management) will be advantageous.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Ballistic Signal Transmission Testing (BSTS)
* Vibration & Shock response Spectrum (SRS) and mechanical shock testing
* Static load, climatic, and temperature shock testing
* Environmental and pyrotechnic/explosive testing
* Instron Machine, salt fog, and SO2 testing
* Knowledge of Military and Civilian Test Standards
Team Structure & Working Environment
* Work within a 5-member team with close collaboration among Environmental Test and Electro-Mechanical teams.
* Hybrid work arrangement (2 days remote, office attendance as required by testing needs).

Qualifications
