Location: Kent
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + Up To 20% Bonus.

About the Company:
Our client is a leading recycling and waste management business known for their commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic EHS Manager to lead their Environment, Health & Safety Manager strategy, ensuring the highest standards across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage the company’s EHS strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and promote a strong EHS culture across the organisation, fostering a safe and environmentally responsible working environment.
* Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections across all sites to ensure compliance with EHS legislation and industry best practices.
* Oversee incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective actions.
* Provide expert guidance and training to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of the business.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all EHS documentation is accurately maintained and up-to-date.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a EHS role within the Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Plant industries.
* Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Diploma level qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
* Proactive and results-driven, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
