ABOUT THE ROLE: Platformation is looking for a Data Analyst to support with the following responsibilities, including: Operating and analysing one of the world’s largest resources of syndicated market research. Data Collection and Cleaning: Gathering data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy, and cleaning it to remove inconsistencies or errors. Data Analysis: Employing statistical techniques and tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data. Data Visualisation: Creating clear and informative visualisations (e.g., charts, graphs) to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Reporting: Preparing comprehensive reports summarising data analysis results and providing actionable recommendations. Creation of client presentations and delivery of client workshops. Managing Key Accounts: Overseeing and maintaining relationships with key clients or stakeholders. In addition, you will also support on a wide range of additional tasks to support the running of the business, including: Social Media posts and maintenance of our website. Support with our broadcast distribution arm of the business by liaising with and coordinating a global network of broadcasters on both rights agreements, broadcast content and technical satellite information. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Essential: Excellent Excel skills. Including Excel Query Skills and Pivot Tables. Experience with PowerPoint Experience with Tableau, Power BI or similar reporting and data visualisation tools for building and maintaining dashboards. High level of analytical intelligence and a capacity to convey complex ideas in a simple manner using text and graphics. A passion and interest in the sports industry Excellent written English. Other languages potentially a significant advantage. Professional manner and ability to represent the company and our work at an appropriate level. Ambition and eagerness to learn. Flexible approach to work required, as befits a small company. Needs to be prepared to get involved in a changing environment. Degree in an appropriate, numerate or technical subject (For example, Data Analysis, Maths, Computer Science, Finance, IT, Engineering, Economics etc.) Desirable: Understanding of the sponsorship industry. A working knowledge of AI and its implementation in a work environment.
