IT Project Manager - one day a week to Manchester, the rest at home. • My client is undergoing an IT Transformation and needs a Project Manager to deliver a large-scale consolidation projects involving the Microsoft suite, including Azure, Active Directory and M365/O365. Ideally you will have experience of delivering projects from the M365 suite, particularly Identity and data. • You will define the initial plan, map out stakeholder management and kick off the process. Working in IT Operations, you will manage the project to integrate acquired businesses in both the UK and Europe, from an EUC/IT perspective, such as common domain names, shared calendars and storage facilities. Main purpose of role: You will draw upon your expertise in project management in operational, transformational and technical areas, ensuring that there is clarity on both context and guardrails. Key skills and responsibilities: • Accurately and concisely communicating updates, including project delivery scope, delivery dates and status. • Lead the initiation of the project • Communicating effectively with team members across all functional areas of the business, ranging from technical to operational and governance teams on a roadmap of related projects • Demonstrating the aptitude to understand and breakdown technical solutions into a clear plan for delivering end to end business change, choosing, and then establishing the most appropriate framework based on the project and virtual team requirements. • Developing and motivating a team of individuals and creating an environment which is open, trusted, and respectful. • Occasional travel to Europe • Familiarity with GDPR and data sovereignty regulations Skill Responsibilities Problem solving Managing and delivering a suite of IT projects to achieve overarching operational strategic goals • Creating a culture of high standards and continuous learning, support this within and between cross-functional teams working collaboratively on business change outcomes. • Managing project risks and issues and initiating appropriate mitigation actions. Interpersonal • Coaching teams on best practices and ways of working, and to be an advocate for agile tools and techniques in delivery. • Supporting the team, Senior Management Team across the UK and our European functions with business updates on the status of business change.
