Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen to work for a much-loved local charity in our Hospice Outreach Service based in Pembury.
This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, as part of a friendly team supporting clinical staff within the Care Directorate. This is a busy role where you will act as the first point of contact between patients, relatives, and medical staff and be responsible for maintaining confidentiality to ensure the department runs efficiently at all times.
Responsibilities
1. Act as the first point of contact between patients, relatives, and medical staff.
2. Maintain confidentiality and ensure the department runs efficiently.
3. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for excellent spoken and written communication skills and a demonstration of a high level of attention to detail. You will be equally comfortable being responsible for your own workload as well as forming part of a cohesive team. Knowledge of EMIS (the electronic patient record system we use) would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential, along with proven strong telephone and administration skills.
