What's involved with this role: Reference: 0009 GPPL MAPS FT Role: Grants Programme Procurement Lead Reporting to: Service Development Lead Location: Bedfordshire Working Arrangement: Hybrid working, ideally 2 days a week in the office Pay Rate: £70,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits package including 30 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, pension contributions matched 2 to 1 (up to 10% of your salary), interest-free loan for season tickets for buses and trains and more Are you an experienced grant-making or procurement professional looking for an impactful role in the public sector? We’re recruiting for a Grant Programme Procurement Lead to help design and deliver high-quality, client-focused debt advice services through robust grant funding schemes. About the Role As a Grant Programme Procurement Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping effective grant-making processes, working closely with procurement, finance, policy, and service delivery teams to ensure funding models align with government standards. Key Responsibilities Lead pre-market engagement and gather valuable insights for funding models Design and manage competitive grant application processes Develop key grant documentation, KPIs, and payment structures Ensure compliance with government grant standards and risk management frameworks Support mobilisation of new services and ongoing grant management Collaborate with senior stakeholders and government bodies to drive best practices About You The ideal candidate will have: Essential Skills: Strong experience in public sector grant-making or procurement Commercial awareness, especially around government procurement Ability to work autonomously and deliver in a fast-paced environment Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Clear and concise communication of complex issues Risk identification and mitigation expertise Desirable Skills: Knowledge of government grant-making standards & governance Experience in the Third Sector or debt advice services Understanding of fraud risk assessment in grant-making Why Join?
