Overview
Veritas Consultancy (UK) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and professional International Markets Manager to join our team. With extensive experience in international business development, trade facilitation, and market expansion strategies, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge to help lead our international market operations. This full-time position is based in our office in Greater London, and candidates must be fluent in both English and Urdu. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of international markets, and a willingness to travel to support business growth.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding Veritas Consultancy’s presence in international markets, driving business development, and fostering strategic relationships with stakeholders across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
* Market Expansion and Development: Lead the identification and development of new international business opportunities, including strategic market entry, product launches, and partnerships. Manage and execute market expansion plans to increase the company’s footprint in targeted global regions.
* International Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with international clients, business partners, and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor and provide expert guidance on market entry strategies, trade regulations, and business development.
* Business Development and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement business development strategies that contribute to achieving company revenue goals. Lead negotiations, manage high-value contracts, and drive international sales efforts to grow the company’s revenue streams in international markets.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment in executing international strategies and achieving business objectives.
* Market Research and Strategic Insights: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitor activities. Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to drive decision-making and ensure competitive advantage.
Travel and Stakeholder Engagement: Travel internationally as required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, negotiate deals, and strengthen partnerships across key regions. Represent the company at global industry events and contribute to the promotion of Veritas Consultancy’s brand.
* Compliance: Adhere to all internal HR policies, office procedures, and legal requirements, ensuring that all international market activities comply with relevant regulations and company standards.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, maintaining records, and other general office tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the team.
* Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any ad-hoc duties or tasks as assigned by the Managing Director or senior management, supporting the broader objectives of the company.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, International Relations, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in international business development, trade facilitation, or market expansion, ideally within the consultancy, services, or related sectors.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Urdu (written and spoken) is essential to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders across diverse international markets.
* Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of international market dynamics, including trade regulations, economic trends, and business practices in key regions, especially the UK, Africa, Middle-East, and South Asia.
* Business Development Skills: Proven success in driving business growth through relationship-building, contract negotiations, and strategic planning in international markets.
* Professionalism: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate at senior levels and represent the company professionally at all times.
* Computer Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, with the ability to manage multiple business operations efficiently.
Travel Flexibility: The role requires some national travel to meet clients and support business operations.
