Asset and Energy Surveyor job with a social housing provider based in Bridgend. Your New Organisation My client is a social housing provider based in South Wales. Their mission is to ensure safe, comfortable, and sustainable housing for the community. As part of the team, you’ll contribute to their commitment to excellence and service delivery. Your New Role As an Asset & Energy Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient technical services within our organisation. This will include becoming a key figure in the Assets department and steering the organisation's decarbonisation programmes. Your responsibilities will encompass property inspections, which will include retrofit and EPC assessments. Compliance with health and safety regulations is paramount, and you’ll provide expert advice while collaborating with tenants and stakeholders. What You’ll Need to Be Successful You will need to be a qualified DEA & Retrofit Assessor, who is an experienced Asset Surveyor working within social housing. Demonstrate expertise in housing and property service maintenance and refurbishment, including proficiency in budget planning and resource monitoring, experience in managing construction work, including subcontractors, and a track record of meeting deadlines and KPIs. You will need to be proficient in maximising IT / software to improve the surveying service. Experience using Housing Health & Safety Rating System is desired. What You’ll Get in Return You will become a key member within the assets department, which will include a salary between £36,153 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
