A superb permanent Site Manager role has come to fruition for a Dorset based contractor covering small works and main works based from their offices near Broadstone.
In a typical week you will:
* Manage the day to day running of a construction site.
* Manage Health, Safety and Environment matters on site.
* Manage direct labour.
* Manage subcontractors.
* Order/call off materials.
* Liaise with Client team.
* Carry out short term programming.
* Prepare and manage RFIs and CSIs.
* Site document management.
* Manage Temporary Works on site.
* Manage and ensure high quality build and finish.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a proven track record for delivering projects on time, to cost and meeting quality criteria.
* Have significant experience at senior site management level.
* Have excellent building knowledge, planning and organisational skills.
* Have extensive experience in dealing with client’s, professional teams, subcontractors and a directly employed workforce.
* Experienced in working in live environments, such as schools and hospitals.
* Be dynamic, innovative and able to work on one’s own initiative.
* A strong communicator and team player that can demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills.
* CIOB / HND Construction related qualifications would be advantageous.
* Hold relevant training certificates including valid SMSTS and First Aid.
* Be IT competent.
