Maths and Science Teacher

LT Support have partnered with a dedicated SEMH school group with two sites in Essex. The new site is looking for a Maths and Science Teacher who coordinates and facilitates learning through engaging, well-sequenced, and appropriately challenging lessons to ensure that children know and remember more. Teachers at the school plan for National Curriculum subjects, linking learning to children's individual needs and progress plans. Teachers write two achievement reports annually, assess children's progress using formative assessment milestones, and ensure that books and folders are well presented and kept up to date.
Core Responsibilities:
* Motivate, engage, and inspire the children.
* Facilitate a well-sequenced curriculum and child-centred learning.
* Manage behaviour positively in line with the school's ethos and procedures.
* Ensure learning and lessons are well sequenced to meet children's needs.
* Lead in creating an attractive, positive, and uncluttered learning environment.
* Keep assessment for learning and progress monitoring up to date to support each child's learning.
* Contribute to breakfast, break, lunch, assembly, exercise, and extra-curricular provisions.
* Role-model the values of the school and demonstrate outstanding professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:
QTS is essential for this role alongside experience in delivering Maths and Science. Ideally, candidates will have experience in an SEMH/SEN environment.
