The post holder will be required to have the dexterity and accuracy required for data collection and use of equipment The post holder will be required to have standard or enhanced keyboard skills, use of presentation, projection/multimedia equipment and e-learning resources. Develop programmes of education, development and training in conjunction with the Senior Nurse for Workforce Development and Education Work within Trust policies, challenging processes where appropriate Interpret and implement national policies and procedures relating to culture and inclusion Develops new policies and standard operating procedures relevant to their sphere of working and share practice across the Trust Responsibility for Financial and Physical Resources Demonstrate effective management and efficient use of available resources. As part of the Trusts recruitment and retention strategies be involved in the undertaking of exit interviews for staff who leave the Trust. Provide leadership to the clinical teams, identifying and implementing innovation in clinical practice Participate in the recruitment and selection processes with hiring managers to effect the reduction of unconscious and conscious bias Contribute to the formal induction of all new staff. Participate in the preceptorship of newly appointed staff and the education of learners and clinical support workers Provide appropriate education, training and development opportunities to enhance staff performance Ensure clinical supervision is available on the ward / department Responsibility for Information Resources Updates patient records Responsibility for Research and Development Participate as an individual in surveys.
