We are currently seeking a Concrete Plant Operative. We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on person to join our team. You’ll play a key part in our concrete production across various projects in UK, keeping the site running smoothly to meet the needs of our customers.
If successful, you’ll join a national team and report into the Operations Supervisor.
This is a mobile role and therefore, any candidates in Great Britain will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
As our next Concrete Plant Operative, you’ll be responsible for the daily inspections, maintenance and housekeeping of the plant associated with your role along with the Servicing of the Plant, operation of the Loading Shovel and Batching Systems at a number of sites across Great Britain whilst placing the highest importance on our sustained standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management you will be a leading contributor to the Company’s zero harm culture.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* A valid UK Driving License
* A hard-working approach with a can do attitude
* Effective communication & problem-solving skills
* Flexibility and versatility
* Willingness to work nights & weekends where required
* Experience of working in an environment where Health and Safety is paramount
* Previous concrete batching experience
* A mechanical background (not essential)
* A MPQC/CPCS skills card (training will be given)
