Logistics Coordinator
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: £26,000 per annum plus bonus
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm
Type: Permanent
Imperial Professionals are working exclusively with a global organisation based in Teesside who are looking to appoint a Logistics Coordinator on a full-time permanent basis.
Duties:
1. Planning shipments based on product availability and customer requests
2. Process and create necessary documentation, i.e. COO, SASO etc. for destination purposes
3. Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal and external systems and databases
4. Keep track of freight, warehouse, transport and supply management systems
5. Keep track of quality, warranty, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
6. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
7. Resolve any arising problems or complaints in a timely manner
8. Keep internal and external customers updated on progress relating to their orders and deliveries from start to finish
9. Prioritise own workload and demand against the business targets
10. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
11. Review, maintain and identify improvement and efficiency of logistics processes
12. Maintain a good relationship with our current forwarders whilst also creating new relationships with future suppliers
13. Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
14. Meet measurable KPI targets
15. Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements

17. Ensure the delivery of quality customer service
18. Follow health, safety and environmental guidelines and procedures in respect of personal and department activities.
19. To carry out any other reasonable duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities when requested
Requirements:
1. Demonstrable experience of working in a customer service or business to business role and delivering excellent standards of service
2. Demonstrable experience of working in a Logistic specific environment or role
3. Knowledge of specific documentation required for international transport
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Excellent ability to work accurately and with attention to detail
