Painter & Decorator Full Time, Permanent Facilities Department Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire Cricket Club We are excited to be looking for a Painter & Decorator to join the Facilities team at Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire Cricket. In this role you will be responsible for supportubg the Maintenance team by ensuring all areas of the Stadium and Hotel are presented to a very high standard and assist with the general property maintenance during the cricket season, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks About Us Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire Cricket, is an award-winning world-class stadium and venue. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for ordering & keeping stock of paints, matching colours, preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, stains, wallpaper etc to agreed areas. Internal and external painting and decorating Ensure the Hotel is maintained to brand standards Deliver a program of improvements within a set budget and to an agreed time frame Tasks will range from day to day decorating touch-ups to coordinating large painting projects related to the hotel and stadium. Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE and ensuring work areas are safe and clean Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of painted and decorated surfaces making repairs as necessary Work closely with other maintenance staff, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and with minimal disruption to stadium operations Essential Requirements NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating Proven experience in painting and decorating in a similar background Trained on high working, including Pasma/Ladder use. Ability to work under own initiative in a methodical process as required. Experience working as a general handy man across all trades Previous experience in working alongside Contractors and others.
