Procurement Manager, Construction and Facilities
What You’ll Do:
* Act as a trusted adviser, and subject matter expert, leading Real Estate, Facilities, and Physical Security services procurement across all Expedia offices in EMEA.
* Be a strategic partner to our Expedia stakeholders, creating category strategies where appropriate, and driving business performance in collaboration with our Sourcing Operations team.
* Lead and own a full range of projects from transactional to complex, within your categories. These projects often involve working across multiple business units and stakeholder groups, as well as multiple geographies, to develop effective solutions for Expedia.
* Partner with stakeholders to build moderate to complex service requirements and scope, assist with identifying vendors, manage the entire RFx process, provide vendor evaluation framework and recommendations on vendor selection.
* For individual projects, you will build, communicate, and implement work plans and timelines. Identify the required supporting efforts, dependencies, and barriers, as well as track and report on progress/issues.
* Deliver sustainable value by leading negotiations with vendors on the scope of work, commercial aspects, and contracting, which includes working with legal, finance, tax, and other internal departments.
* Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize value and to deliver a best-in-class supply chain solutions across your categories.
* Support the continuous development and evolution of the Real Estate and Physical Security vendor database, using data to drive efficiencies and effective vendor management.
* Act as the point of contact for issues critical to stakeholder teams including procurement, business partners, legal, finance, and tax.
Who You Are:
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience. CIPS certification preferred but not required.
* 5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing and procurement of Real Estate and Facilities services or similar background.
* Possess exceptional knowledge of core procurement fundamentals.
* A great teammate and able to work independently while prioritizing your own time and work.
* Strong communication skills; written, verbal, and interpersonal.
* Experienced working in a global business with multiple brands.
* Experienced in redlining and negotiating contracts with key contract terms and concepts familiarity is essential.
* A leader in establishing and maintaining business partner relationships, including influencing skills, are essential and rising to the challenge when looking after demanding business partners.
* Capable of working with abstract concepts and presenting simply and clearly to others.
* Strong problem-solving, lateral thinking, project management, planning organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Driven by financial targets and value creation.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and Smartsheet
