Company: Sugarman Health and Wellbeing Role: Care Assistant Salary: £14 per hour Location: NN11, Daventry, Northamptonshire Job Type: Full Time, minimum 36hrs per week. Shifts on offer: Monday to Sunday, 12hr Shifts, must be flexible Day & Night. (7:00 to 20:00 & 20:00 to 7:00) Please note that this vacancy is only open to female applicants due to the personal care required for a vulnerable adult as permitted under the Equality Act 2010 About the role: Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking Care Assistant to support our female service user with Cerebral Palsy. The role involves providing 2:1 support for all aspects of her clinical care, including PEG. The service user can also present some mild challenging behaviour at times. She has some basic understanding with Makaton and regularly attends music therapy. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, as we wish to encourage our service user to spend time in the community and participate in activities that support her independence. Bubbly outgoing carers with good communication skills would be an asset to this care package, engaging with our service user and her next of kin as well as other members of the team is essential Benefits: Theoretical and Practical training is provided to ensure you have the correct skills and give yourself the opportunity to upskill yourself in the sector.
