We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Pharmacy Team in Stewartry as a Lead Pharmacy Technician for two and a half days (19 hours) per week.
Working as part of the Community Health & Social Care (CH&SC) Pharmacy team, you will work from the Pharmacy Hub at Gardenhill Health Centre and across the GP practices as part of our exciting General Practice Clinical Pharmacy service.
Our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers take a leading role in medicines management and medication review as part of the multidisciplinary GP and CH&SC teams.
The post holder must have effective interpersonal and communication skills. They will also have the ability to work with a range of clinical and non-clinical personnel as they become core members of the pharmacy and GP practice teams. They will liaise closely with hospital and community pharmacy colleagues and care homes to ensure seamless pharmaceutical care.
This post is crucial in delivering the pharmacy service with a focus on medication reviews offered to the people of D&G, supporting people to live longer and happier lives by helping them to make best use of their medicines.
