Tersus, part of the Marlowe Environmental Services Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Designer/CDM Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 for our clients, helping to drive safety and best practices across a range of projects.
Requirements
What will you be doing?
1. Liaising with Clients, Designers, and Contractors as required for each scheme
2. Attending design reviews and design team meetings
3. Advising Clients, Designers, and Contractors on their duties under CDM 2015 regulations
4. Participating in pre-start and progress meetings
5. Supporting and mentoring junior/trainee CDM Consultants
6. Overseeing Quality Management System processes, including corrective actions, purchasing, training, and production of QMS-related information
7. Undertaking additional duties in line with job responsibilities as required
What experience do you need?
1. NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or working towards a NEBOSH Diploma)
2. In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and associated Approved Code of Practice
3. Previous experience in CDM Coordination within a consultancy environment
4. Registered CDMC Membership of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPS)
5. Strong organisational and communication skills
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
7. Proficiency in IT and relevant software
8. Technician Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH)
