What you will do:
1. Provide vital support to young people at risk of serious youth violence, gang involvement, and exploitation.
2. Advocate on behalf of young people, ensuring they receive the necessary support from multiple agencies.
3. Coordinate multi-agency meetings and interventions, bringing together stakeholders to respond effectively to the assessed risks.
4. Engage in outreach activities with the aim of reducing vulnerability and exploitation among young people.
5. Ensure that young individuals' needs are met through comprehensive assessments and tailor-made service plans.
6. Maintain accurate records and reports, documenting interactions and progress in supporting young people.
7. Liaise with families, carers, and other professionals to build a supportive network around each young person.
Minimum Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A relevant social work qualification.
2. Experience working with young people at risk.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
