Consultant Psychiatrist-Early Intervention (3 Bowlers Green) (NHS Medical & Dental: Consultant) - PATH Services - Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust – Radlett, Hertfordshire
This is a hugely exciting time for the Trust having recently achieved an OUTSTANDING CQC RATING and being one of just five mental health and learning disabilities NHS trusts in England to hold an outstanding rating.
We are driven by our values. If you believe in Respect, Kindness and a Positive outlook then you'll be right at home.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a fairly new service for people who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. There is a significant evidence base to support the interventions used to promote recovery in this patient population that includes medication, psychological interventions and family work.
The post holder will be involved in the assessment and management of a wide range of early psychosis presentations. Comorbid conditions including substance misuse and mood/anxiety disorders are the norm and offer challenges in terms of diagnosis and treatment.
