Business Systems Analyst with Unit 4 ERP System experience is required by Logic Engagements to work for our well established global client. This role is hybrid working and our client is happy for this person to be based out of either London, Bath, Leeds, or Edinburgh – circa 3-4 days a month in the office.
The main purpose of this role is to work in both a technical & functional capacity to deliver new enhancements and functionality using the Unit 4 ERP suite which is used globally by the practice. The role will also involve an element of system support, internal consulting, and stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate will assist the Business Systems Manager / Business Systems Team leader in gathering requirements in delivering functionality and products which meet the needs of the practice.
Responsibilities
1. Technical delivery of system enhancement, improvement, and functionality projects;
2. Identify areas of opportunity for future enhancement within the Unit 4 ERP product suites;
3. As required, work with other internal systems project teams, to ensure tighter data sharing, and reduce duplication, inefficiency, and interface translation requirements;
4. Provide support and assistance regarding systems implications of business process change;
5. 3rd Line Support for Unit 4 ERP function;
6. Enforce governance around QA, change management, documentation of solutions, maintain a knowledge base ensuring release and reference documentation is stored in a central repository.
In order to be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
1. Previous background working as a Business Systems Analyst;
2. Experience of working on and supporting Unit 4 ERP;
3. Ability to create, document, and implement solutions based on a set of requirements;
4. Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels and an ability to effectively liaise with 3rd parties to deliver solutions;
5. SQL experience and knowledge (Preferential);
6. Prioritise workload based on severity and impact to customer and demonstrate a sense of urgency when handling tickets;
7. Write test scripts and help to ensure quality of solution prior to user acceptance testing;
8. Test and document patches/bug fixes before they are deployed to the live environment;
9. Monitoring and managing interfaces.
