We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the East Suffolk Council's Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team as an Electrician. The role: We are looking for a qualified individual to join our Building Maintenance team, to undertake various electrical works to the Authorities Housing Stock and on behalf of other clients and customers. You must be competent in all aspects of electrical work and will be required to complete a range of duties including rewiring, installation and testing. What you will need: It is essential that you hold a City and Guilds 236 Parts I and 2 or equivalent to 18 th Edition BS: 7671 (BS 2382) and demonstrate a knowledge of amendment 2 :2022. Ideally, you will have a City and Guilds 2391. You must hold a full UK clean driving licence. Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday. As part of your Contractual duties, you will be included within our out of hours Call out Rota for which there will be an additional remuneration. You may be required to complete a practical and/or theory test as part of the selection process.
