We utilise Eclipse for treatment planning, employing RapidArc VMAT, IGRT, DIBH, and SABR Lung techniques in routine practice. Brachytherapy is delivered at our Maidstone through a gynaecological HDR service, utilising Varian GammMedPlus iX; prostate seed implants; and an expanding HDR prostate service. Main duties of the job As the Lead Physicist for Brachytherapy, you will lead Brachytherapy section of the Radiotherapy Physics Department. This will involve both running the routine service and leading future developments such as the commissioning of new and replacement equipment, introducing new technique and ensuring legislative compliance. You will also be expected to act as a Medical Physics Expert for brachytherapy physics.
