We have an incredibly exciting HR role on offer - we are looking for an experienced HRBP with Talent Expertise to bring a role which blends strategic HR Business Partnering with a strong focus on Talent Development across our international business.
With your Business Partner hat on – 2 days a week, based in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire - you’ll be driving a step-change in HR delivery at one of our factory sites (120 heads). You’ll bring about the transition from transactional, ER-heavy HR to true value-adding Strategic Business Partnering delivery. A keen and mouldable management and leadership team wait for you to be their challenging friend, who will co-evolve the People Plan into a strategic plan aligned to the commercial business strategy – all whilst supporting the team to develop themselves into self-sufficient, high performing teams and individuals. This, while implementing a new People and Business system into the site as one of our pilot business units – which you’ll leverage as an enabler for transitioning to true Business Partnering HR. This is an opportunity to deliver a real step-change in the people delivery on site – aiming for HR excellence.
With your Talent hat on – 3 days a week, based in Barway, near Ely, Cambridgeshire with regular travel across the region – you’ll be working collaboratively with our Learning and Development team to implement our talent development strategy across the UK. You’ll be responsible for gathering insight and themes across our operational sites to help inform future strategy and direction – ensuring that we deliver appropriate development and talent management tools and approaches. You’ll be building on strong foundations in this space, to help transform our talent agenda following recent investments in establishing principles and agreements in our approach.
Ultimately – you'll be helping our businesses identify and unlock future talent, develop new pipelines and ensure we continue to engage and retain the very best people across the region. This part of the role will require regional, regular travel to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure the service is encompassing and delivers a full annual talent cycle. You’ll also liaise with our resourcing team closely, therefore, taking a particular interest in early careers work to ensure a healthy talent pipeline with best-in-class development programmes and candidate experience.
Key responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering:
* Drive the transition from transactional to value-adding, strategic HR delivery – focusing on development and upskilling, workforce planning & organisation design, talent management, and employee engagement.
* Partner with, develop, coach and challenge operational leaders to implement People strategies that align with business objectives, in a more self-sufficient manner.
* Drive cultural and organisational change initiatives to support the business's transformation goals.
* Act as a key HR partner in the rollout and implementation of a new People and Business System.
Talent:
* Support the development and implementation of the Talent strategy.
* Collaborate with a broad group of interested stakeholders including HR Centres of Excellence and Operational Leadership teams to drive cultural change in Talent Management.
* Partner closely with the HR Business Partner teams to implement and challenge in the Talent space and to inform and support future workforce and succession planning.
* This role will report into the Regional HR Business Partner with a dotted line into the L&D Lead.
Candidate requirements:
* CIPD Qualification (Level 7 preferred) or equivalent strategic HR/Talent experience & exposure.
* Expertise in designing and delivering talent development programs, leadership training, and succession planning strategies.
* Strategic Thinking.

* Proven Project Management experience.
* Analytical skills.
* Adaptability and Flexibility to be fully mobile and adaptable to work across various locations as required.
