Acoustic Consultants Environment & Safety Team - 23K - 32K company car / allowance Location: North England/Midlands Region To support our ambitious growth plans, we have great opportunities to join our Occupational Hygiene, Acoustics and Environmental team. SOCOTEC s Acousticians undertake a range of consultancy to assist clients in monitoring, assessing and compliance with noise and vibration related impacts in all stages of development and operation of the built environment lifecycle. Our highly qualified specialists provide a market-leading service offering the assurance of compliance with regulations, planning, permits and agreements including Environmental and Workplace Noise, Building and Underwater Acoustics and Vibration. Our clients span a wide spectrum, from Aggregates, Automotive and Construction through to Rail and Renewable Energy. Due to ongoing expansion, SOCOTEC currently has vacancies for Acoustic Consultants from entry-level technicians to experienced consultants to join our southeast / southwest regional teams. The role is home based but you must be prepared to travel to sites to undertake site surveys. We are looking for candidates with a relevant degree in an acoustic or STEM related discipline, who may already be either associated or full members of the institute of acoustics or who desires to work towards that goal. We would equally like to hear from acoustic undergraduates who have (or about to) graduate this year. Tasks you will be required to undertake as part of your role include (but are not limited to): Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including business development, clients, and contractors and planning authorities.
