A bit about what you will do...
Assist the Director of Golf and Operations Manager with ensuring the security and safety of the golf course, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours. This role focuses on patrolling the grounds, preventing unauthorised access, and safeguarding the course and its assets.
* Patrol the golf course and surrounding areas during assigned afternoon and evening shifts, maintaining a visible security presence.
* Monitor the course for any suspicious activity, unauthorised individuals, or potential security breaches.
* Ensure the public adheres to designated public pathways and do not wander onto the golf course.
* Secure the golf course at the end of the day by locking all designated gates and access points according to established procedures.
* Conduct regular checks of the course perimeter and buildings to identify and report any security vulnerabilities or damage.
* Liaise with the Golf team or security team regarding any security concerns or incidents observed on the course.
* Respond to and address any security-related incidents or concerns in a calm and professional manner, escalating to the Director of Golf or other relevant personnel as necessary.
* Maintain a log of security patrols, incidents, and any actions taken.
* Demonstrate a firm understanding of club rules and security policies and, where necessary, implement them with the public.

* Previous work experience in a golf environment is preferred.
* Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
* Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and be a good team player.
* Willing to adapt and change styles as and when necessary.
* Computer literate & able to work with Microsoft Office systems
* Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities, whilst handling a multitude of tasks and members requests.
