This is an opportunity for an Electrical Technician to maintain a variety of electrical equipment ensuring the maintenance and operational integrity of electrical systems within this ethylene production environment.
The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience as an Electrical Technician including the maintenance of a variety of electrical systems, equipment and components in chemical / petrochemical processing plants or offshore production plants.
The role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment and components.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical problems.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Analyze and interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve issues.
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring electrical problems.
Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
Perform routine checks on electrical instruments and gauges to maintain accuracy.
Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Document equipment specifications, serial numbers, and calibration data.
Coordinate with other maintenance and operations personnel to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall plant functionality.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding work progress and challenges.This role is Inside IR35. The rates advertised are PAYE and will accrue holiday pay. The successful candidate could choose to work via an Umbrella company if preferred
