Pay Rate: £17.15 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 hours
Contract Length: Until 30 June 2025
Location: Lichfield, WS13
Location: Lichfield - expectation to attend office 5 days per week at the beginning and 2 days per week once trained. Candidates must live close to the office.
We are seeking an experienced administrator to work within a team who issues environmental permits. Ideally you will have experience, or interest/qualifications in the environmental sector.
Key accountabilities:
Co-ordinates and compiles information from a variety of sources, carries out routine analyses and contributes to the team’s work.
Follow up customer enquiries or tracking planning consultations with local authorities.
Act as an initial point of contact for the team, communicating and filtering information to ensure technical and/or scientific advice and support is delivered accurately, and in a timely manner.
Operates and maintains data and information systems effectively to ensure records are stored accurately, are up to date and readily accessible to facilitate team activities.
Key requirements:
Experience working as an administrator in a customer focussed and busy environment.
Background or interest in the environment sector.
Good level of literacy and numeracy.
Excellent ICT skills and knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
