About Operations
Operations is a busy and dynamic business area, with lots of exciting opportunities to build and develop your career. Our business area comprises a number of functions and Hubs working globally supporting the entire client journey. We support processes from onboarding new clients, transaction processing, derivatives, daily oversight of the Funds Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensuring that we meet all our Client, Fund and regulatory obligations.
Who are we
Schroders is a global investment manager. We help organisations and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals. We're committed to investing sustainably and integrate Environment, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) into our decision-making across all investments whilst maintaining long term performance for our clients.
Despite being around for over 200 years, we're an innovative asset manager that has adapted and developed as society and technology evolved. What hasn't changed is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper. We also believe in the importance of investing in our people and developing a culture which we can be proud of. Almost all of our 6,000 people, based in 37 locations around the world, have told us they agree.
The base
You'll be based at our Schroders Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. We have the same high standards and international reputation as our HQ in the City of London, without being in the city: a big, countryside campus (and no commute on the Tube) means life feels a little different.
The knowledge, experience and skills we are looking for:
1. Any experience which demonstrates good communication, analytical skills, and working well within a team environment.
2. Keenness to innovate and improve processes.
3. Experience of prioritising workload, demonstrating a keen eye for detail, problem solving and confidence in communicating.
4. Being organised and taking the initiative.
You must be at least 18 years old by the start date of the programme to apply for the advertised intake. You will need to study for your CISI Level 3 - Investment Operations Certificate outside of normal office hours.
After your initial training, you have the option to work from home as well as in our office. Minimum expectation is 60% of the week working in our office.
We're looking for the best, whoever you are
