Are you an experienced primary teacher looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? We are seeking a confident and adaptable PPA teacher to cover Years 3-6 across four days per week in a welcoming and well-established school.
As a PPA teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6), ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of class teachers. You'll be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and fostering high standards of behaviour while delivering the planned curriculum. Strong classroom behaviour management is essential, as you'll be covering different classes throughout the week.
* Teach across Years 3-6, delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Maintain a calm and well-managed classroom environment, ensuring high standards of behaviour and learning.
* Adapt quickly to different classes, building positive relationships with pupils.
* Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure continuity in learning and pupil progress.
* Mark and assess work as required, providing feedback where necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Ideally, 5 years teaching experience, particularly in Key Stage 2
* Strong classroom behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain engagement in a range of settings
* A flexible and adaptable approach, able to work with different classes and subjects
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
