We are an aspiring organisation, and we are looking for equally bold and creative Connected Car Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing Connected Car team.
The role
We are seeking a Connected Car Cybersecurity Project Manager to be based at Nissan Technical Centre Europe, Cranfield to manage all aspects of Connected Car Cybersecurity for our AMIEO region vehicles.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Lead the coordination and schedule alignment with all relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with UN-R155.
2. Lead progress reports on Cybersecurity topics at management meeting and vehicle milestone meetings.
3. Understand the capability required for the future and coordinate on the number of people needed to build the team.
4. Lead regular communication and coordination with Legal and Compliance teams.
5. Lead the activity of hearing and communicating from suppliers for information required for Cybersecurity.
6. Lead in resolving issues related to Cybersecurity.
7. Request Cybersecurity requirements at the right time during system development.
8. Keep up to date with the latest trends and features in iOS, Android and Cloud and consider their impact on Cybersecurity.
9. Establish the process of Cybersecurity implementation plan.
10. Manage the cybersecurity team that reports directly to him/her.
11. Participate in investigations relating to regulations and legislation, and in opinion-exchange meetings with other OEMs and others.
The Connected Car Cybersecurity Project Manager will have the following skills or experience:
1. Experience in developing and/or maintaining IT systems such as Azure essential.
2. Experience negotiating with certification authorities.
3. Understanding of UN-R155, ISO21434 and ability to articulate the standard within the business.
4. Proactive approach to identifying and exploring vulnerabilities, operational risk impacting Nissan digital assets.
5. Ability to project manage and discuss with cybersecurity engineers.
6. Demonstrable project management and organisational skills, understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development; PMP or Prince2 is a plus.
7. Cybersecurity knowledge essential.
8. Understanding of process; CISSP or equivalent is desirable.
9. Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
10. Competent with tools such as: Jira and Confluence.
11. Competent with PC applications including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
12. Self-motivating, self-managing and pro-active.
13. Ability to travel abroad, typically a few days to 2 weeks, but on rare occasions travel may be long distance and/or at short notice.
14. Fluent English written and verbal communication skills.
15. Valid UK/European driving licence is essential.
