The role of the Ward Manager is fundamental to lead safe, effective and compassionate care to our patients. The Royal Liverpool Hospital Acute Medical Unit is 62 acute bedded unit with a 4 bedded high care area. Which is split into 3 areas ; a 33 bedded unit, a17 bedded unit and 16 bedded unit, with staff dedicated to work within these areas.
